Technical Visit to Low Carbon Energy Education Centre
On behalf of the HKIE Student Chapter – HKUST, we would like to invite you to join our upcoming joint event with SENG – Technical Visit to Low Carbon Energy Education Centre, which will be held on 24 September 2019 (Tuesday).
Countries worldwide are facing up to the challenges posed by climate change, stepping up global efforts to find and develop clean energy sources to replace high-emission fossil fuels.
CityU's CLP Power Low Carbon Energy Education Centre offers visitors an inspiring and enlightening experience as they learn about the importance of low carbon energy to address the environmental challenges we face.
CLP has sponsored the City University of Hong Kong to set up a low carbon energy education centre on campus. The centre aims to serve as a public education platform to provide visitors with an interesting and thought-provoking experience as they learn about the importance of low carbon energy in addressing the challenge of climate change.
Five themed zones at the centre present an interactive learning experience covering the generation principles, applications, advantages and limitations of different low carbon energy sources as well as the future development potential.
The details of the technical visit are as follows:
